Your Maternity Session

A maternity session is a great way to capture the changes to your body, your beautiful new curves that are housing your precious little one. Everyone's bump is so different, the way you carry is significant to you and your bubba. I myself had my maternity photos done by another photographer- I’m so glad that I captured my Harper bump, as it’s so hard to think of her now inside mummy's tummy, all nice and safe.

I take the photos in the comfort of my home studio, where I’ve got several dresses for you to try on and different backdrops to use- I hope to make you feel very comfortable in front of the camera, as I am a very relaxed photographer, who has been pregnant and knows how uncomfortable it is.

When do you recommend to do the maternity session?

I find that the best and it’s between about 32 to 34 weeks, but we can do it when ever you feel comfortable!

Will your dresses fit me?

My dresses fit at several different sizes I have most of my dresses are medium size which probably fit out of 16 give or take.

Can I include photos of my partner and other children?

Yes of course! I would love for them to come and take part!

I often get asked what to bring or to wear to a session for maternity photography. I have several outfits, but you may want to bring your own. I have had a few request for photos in underwear, for example Calvin Klein underwear, and I love those photos! Very tasteful and beautiful! These photos are for you, so I suggest that if you have seen a photos that you like, let me know and we can plan your session around those. I can try and capture as close to that as possible, recreating any images that I have previously done.

We can also do pictures of your partner with you, and any existing children that you may have. I can give you more advice on what your partner or child with children should wear in a phone consult, as this is all very specific to each session. My maternity sessions are bespoke which means that you get to decide colours and outfits- obviously I will help you along the way- but these are to go in your home so that everyone can see them, so they must be photos that you love.

What colour scheme does your house have? Is it very neutral grey? Or do you like a bit of colour? Is your favourite colour red? Do you know if baby is going to be a boy or a girl? Do you want to use pink or blue? It’s very up to you!

I really enjoy meeting new mums and seeing how they’re feeling at the time!

I have three package options for maternity photography and these include either 5, 10 or 15 images, but you get to choose from the 15 edited images, which package that you would like to choose.
I require a £99 deposit to book.
After your session, I will invite you back to the studio to view your gallery (which I make into a slideshow). If you have travelled a distance, or it is more convenient, I can conduct the viewing session via video conference. During these video conferences, I will mirror my screen for you, so that you can view the slideshow, and then we can narrow down your choices from the comfort of your own home.

Think about what kind of wall art that you'd like to see up in your home as I have so many wonderful products that are such high quality one that stunning on the wall current favourites of my clients are that acrylic orbs. My motto is always the bigger the better I love to see your pictures printed so big and I personally have a 30 inch up of my daughter in my partners hands and I just love it it’s such a statement piece and I always get compliments on the orb.

If you go to my highest package there is actually money off of your newborn session. If you wish to book both with me, I can do similar pictures from your bump to your baby session so that you can hang me is next to each other. There will be the same colour tones, same sort of images and I do love to watch journey from bump to baby!
